About
Indira is a self-taught artist and art mentor whose creative journey began as a personal path of self-discovery, spanning watercolour, portrait, oil, and landscape painting, as well as Indian traditional forms like Pichwai and Tanjore. She takes on commission work across landscapes, florals, portraits, and animals, and has taught art at Kalpavriksha Yuva Kala Kendra for the past two years (20+ students regularly, 40 during summer camps), building on a teaching practice going back to 2018. She also mentors one-on-one at her home studio in Tarnaka, working with children learning their first skills and women picking up a brush for the first time.
